We were excited to attend the Mental Health & Dementia Facilities Forum this week.

This event brought together professionals from across the NHS, private mental healthcare, and care home sectors to explore the latest advancements in the design, construction, and management of mental health and dementia care facilities.

Over the two days, we were given valuable insights into newly developed Mental Health projects and enjoyed the wide range of networking opportunities. The event was a great opportunity to connect with industry leaders, exchange insights, and bring back new ideas to elevate the quality-of-care environments.

Recently Bluesky have been working with our LIFTco partner Community 1st and NHS partners delivering Mental Health services to develop design variations to existing primary care facilities allowing more community based mental health services to be delivered closer to patients homes, from best in class premises.

It’s great to see these buildings evolve as they were originally designed to do over 10-15 years ago. The inherent flexibility designed into these facilities mean they continue to respond to changing service demand, and it’s exciting to see these high-quality care environments now delivering much needed mental health services, in local community settings
